Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Antony was at Carrington on Monday ahead of completing his move from Ajax to Manchester United. United will formally announce Antony's move at some point over the next couple of days, with the Brazilian linking back up with Erik ten Hag in a €100million deal.
Ten Hag signed Antony for Ajax in 2020 and the pair won back-to-back Eredivisie titles together with Ajax. Also read: United watching Celtic midfielder For most of the summer, United were reluctant to meet Ajax's valuation of Antony and club figures doubted a deal was doable at the start of July.
United's disastrous defeats to Brighton and Brentford prompted more proactive movement in the transfer market, though, with Casemiro signed for a fee rising to £70m despite Ten Hag's fixation on Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Antony made public his desire to leave Ajax before Thursday's transfer deadline, and Ten Hag is desperate to add a left-footed right-sided forward to his squad in order to bring better balance and creativity to the attacking line.
