Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

From October 15, many card providers will be increasing the limit to £100 - a move which has both good and bad points. A UK Finance spokesperson said: "The contactless limit increase to £100 will allow customers to pay for higher value transactions like their weekly shop or filling up their car with fuel.” But anyone unsure about the new spend cap may be able to add their own limit to their account by speaking to their bank.
