Aldi warns shoppers of delays to Specialbuys products 'due to Suez Canal crisis'

Aldi has confirmed that the delivery of a number of Specialbuys items has been delayed after the blockage of the Suez Canal.The cut-price supermarket had been scheduled to release a number of cycling-related items - including a mountain bike and bicycle lock - this month.But their release has been delayed until mid-May.

Aldi has attributed the delay to ‘current events’ in a notice on its website. Grocery news website The Grocer is reporting that the crisis on the Suez Canal in late March has contributed to the disruption.
