Young Paisley mum on way to dream career thanks to her work with charity

Rachel was also awarded the Rising Star Award at the Prince’s Trust Awards national finals in 2018.She is now working at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow and is on her way to studying for a degree in Mental Health Nursing thanks to a partnership between The Prince’s Trust Scotland’s and NHS Scotland.Rachel said: “Life is pretty fantastic right now; I work as a healthcare assistant in the children’s clinical decisions unit at the Royal Hospital for Children and The Prince’s Trust got me access to a mentor who is helping me figure out the best way to do a degree in mental health nursing.
