The Manchester Evening News is offering one lucky reader an overnight stay for two at The Chester Grosvenor. The prize also includes dinner at the luxury hotel's recently-opened Arkle Bar and Lounge.

The Chester Grosvenor is a stunning, five-star hotel on Eastgate Street, next to the iconic Eastgate Clock, and dates back to 1865.

Its eagerly-anticipated new fine dining restaurant opened for business last month. The Arkle is headed up by newly-appointed executive chef Elliot Hill.

The venue was previously known as ‘Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor ’ but underwent a £250,000 revamp and rebrand after temporarily closing last summer.
