As we approach the festive period you may be wondering what the chances are that we will get to enjoy a white Christmas this year.

The fabled white Christmas that we hope for every year doesn't always come, sometimes turning into a day of grey skies and rain instead.

While an exact forecast cannot be given yet whether we will be able to make snowmen in the garden this Christmas - we do have an idea of what the weather will be like for December 25.
