Over the years since the Eurovision song contest has begun, Ireland has won a total of seven times, making it the country who has won the song competition the most.
However, the BBC has decided to hold a TV contest which will air tonight, where they show the best songs over the years and not a single Irish contestant made the cut.
The British broadcaster has now been accused of a ‘national insult’ to Ireland as it has chosen to leave Ireland out of the show in favour of rather unpopular songs by other countries.
