Westlife are embracing an ‘exciting new chapter’ following the announcement that they are parting ways with their record label EMI.

The band, who released their hugely successful 2019 album Spectrum with the label, say the split is due to ‘breakdown of contractual negotiations.’ It seems they have parted on good terms though, as a statement released on social media says the split is ‘by mutual consent.’ If you’re worried this means no more music from Shane, Mark, Nicky and Kian for a while, you couldn’t be more wrong!

The foursome have revealed they are already working on new music and are set to announce a new ‘groundbreaking global partnership’ very soon.
