People across West Dunbartonshire and Helensburgh have been thanked for staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic.The area’s top cop Chief Superintendent John Paterson said it was clear to him and his officers that people were sticking to the rules.Since the powers were introduced three weeks ago, residents are only to go out when they have to pick up essential shopping items, if caring for a vulnerable person or if they must work and cannot do their job from home.
