Mr Elms, who was due to become a father at the time, died after a reported disturbance outside a house on Fifth Avenue, Oldham, in May this year.

Mr Elms died from a fatal stab wound to the back of his chest, the inquest heard. A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with his murder.
