Twitter has begun testing a new edit button on select users of the app, which is expected to be rolled out to some Twitter Blue subscribers.
Today, the app's own Twitter account posted: "If you see an edited Tweet it's because we're testing the edit button, this is happening and you'll be okay." This comes as the launched Twitter Circle this week, which allows users the ability to tweet to smaller groups of people.
Earlier this year, the tech giant revealed it was working on developing their "most requested feature to date”, which allows users to edit tweets after they are posted.
As of now, tweets can only be completely deleted and re-done as new.The new button will allow users to modify their posts "a few times" up to 30 minutes after it's been published.
