Twitter has apologised for not taking 'faster action' in permanently suspending grime artist Wiley's account.He has been widely criticised after he posted a series of anti-Semitic tweets almost a week ago, which led to a social media blackout.Wiley, real name is Richard Cowie, posted a series of posts on the social media site starting on Friday, and was initially given a temporary ban.However, the majority of his offensive tweets remained visible.After Facebook and Instagram banned Wiley from its platforms on Tuesday, Twitter has said it has now permanently suspended him.A company spokesman said: "Upon further investigation, our teams have permanently suspended the account in question for repeated violations of our hateful conduct.
