Tony Bennett has canceled the rest of his 2021 tour dates. The 95-year-old legendary singer was supposed to do some shows in New York, Maryland and Connecticut as well as Oklahoma and Canada.
The dates were originally postponed due to the pandemic into 2021, and now, he has made the decision to cancel them outright.
Ticketholders are being told to check with the venues regarding refunds. If you don’t know, Tony and his family revealed he is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease.
He was diagnosed in 2016 and revealed his diagnosis earlier this year. The cancellation of his final shows should come as no surprise as his recent gigs with Lady Gaga were billed as his final NYC public performances, Variety reports.
