Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Tom Rogic is committed to rediscovering his best form with the Premiership champions. Australian international midfielder Rogic has struggled for regular game time under Neil Lennon and the 27-year-old has been increasingly on the fringes at Parkhead.

But McDonald reckons Rogic, who has still has three years left of his contract with the Premiership champions, will come good again after seven years at the club.

He said: "Tom Rogic is facing a tough task now to break back in the way Neil Lennon has the team set up. But he’s had so much experience now at a certain level that Lennon knows he can bring him on and he can change a game. "Whether or not Tommy starts ever again week-in, week-out for Celtic is a big question.
