TOM Hanks hosted the first Saturday Night Live from Home weeks after he was diagnosed with covid-19. The actor hosted the first episode to air in five weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic and made a few jokes about forgetting how to button up a suit.

Tom, 63, opened up more about being diagnosed in Australia with his wife, Rita, in his opening monologue. The actor said: "It's good to be here, but it's also weird to be here hosting Saturday Night Live from home.
