Sky customers may be enjoying the return on live sport to the TV and broadband provider’s platform, but they’re about to see their bills rise in August.Sky already hiked its prices for millions of customers in April and says the latest increase will only apply to subscribers whose bills didn't go up at that time – so if your prices increased in April, you won’t be affected.Affected customers will see the cost of their Entertainment TV package increase by £2 a month while Sky's Essentials broadband customers will also incur a £2 a month increase.
And people with multiscreen services or HD TV packages will have £1 a month added to their bill.Those worst hit could see bills rise by £6 a month in total - an increase of £72 a year - but Sky has.
