The vehicle was parked on a driveway overnight when thieves broke in and stole the instruments early in the morning of Saturday (August 29).

It contained more than £6,000-worth of guitars, pedals and drum parts belonging to the band Maruja. Read More: Drummer Jacob Hayes, 23, came home from work at around midnight.

He said his van, a Renault Traffic, was locked. The following morning, he found it had been broken into, with the lock on the back door having been drilled into.
