Those attending the 93rd Academy Awards will not be required to don face coverings during the telecast on April 25. A virtual meeting featuring Academy representatives, nominees and studio and personal publicists, which took place earlier this week, revealed that due to the fact the awards show is being held at the famed Union Station in downtown Los Angeles -- and is being treated as a television or film production -- masks will not be required for folks who appear on camera during Sunday’s telecast, according to Variety.
