Now England is in its second full lockdown, the UK's major supermarkets are adjusting their rules and guidelines to ensure that everyone is kept safe.As a result, many retail giants are asking people to shop alone where possible, and are not permitting couples and families from shopping together if it's not necessary.Sainsbury's has already installed a 'one shopper one trolley' rule, and is encouraging people to shop alone wherever possible.It said: "We have also put queuing systems in place outside stores and ask you to queue at a safe distance of two metres apart."Our store teams will be asking groups with more than one adult to choose one adult to shop and will ask other adults to wait."Children are welcome if they are not able to stay.
