Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida has stated that the game won’t have any American voice actors in order to avoid offending Americans themselves.In an interview with Japanese site Dengeki Online, kindly translated by @aitaikimochi, Yoshida touched upon the upcoming JRPGs medieval European setting. Raven Software who developed Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call Of Duty: Warzone will fire more than a third of its QA testers.As reported by The Washington Post, the studio announced a restructuring of the quality assurance department, where contracted testers would either be promoted to full-time or laid off. The company began contacting those affected from December 3 and will continue until December 8.

BioShock 4’s setting and time period have supposedly been revealed by a journalist.As spotted by VGC, according to journalist Colin Moriarty during his Sacred Symbols podcast, the game is set in a fictional Antarctic city. Warzone’s new map, Caldera, have been revealed ahead of its release date.The new map, which is set to launch on December 8 for owners of Call of Duty: Vanguard and the following day on December 9 for Warzone players, will take combatants to the Pacific island of Caldera, a sprawling map set to replace the eastern European Verdansk, which has served as Warzone‘s main location since 2020. Salt and Sacrifice developers, Ska Studios, released a new dev diary that shows off Mage Hunts, a multi-stage style of boss fight new to the series.In the sequel to Ska Studios’ critically acclaimed 2D love letter to Dark Souls, there will be a new style of boss and method of boss fight. Bosses are now called mages, and instead of fighting them in one location, these Mage Hunts will take place over multiple parts.This means that when you complete one phase of the boss fight, the boss will flee and you must find them again to finish them off.

Battlefield 2042 currently has no plans to launch with an in-game voice chat system, though EA has announced that its implementation will be coming “ASAP”.According to PC Gamer, there will be no option for in-game voice chat when the first-person shooter releases on November 19. Instead, developer DICE is working on the assumption that players will use external voice chat software such as Discord to co-ordinate their squadrons.As the Battlefield series relies heavily on its online multiplayer, players will need to speak with each other in their squad in order to co-ordinate their attacks.
