Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Susanna Reid broke down as she interviewed Arthur Labinjo-Hughes’ heartbroken Nan on Good Morning Britain. The 50 year old presenter began to cry as she listened to Madeline Halcrow remember her six year old grandson and the physical abuse he was subjected to by his step-mother and father.

Susanna shook her head in horror and sadness on the ITV show, as Madeline described the heartbreaking moment she realised the bruises on Arthur’s back where both old and new.

Madeline reflected through tears on that dreadful time, stating: “I said, there’s new bruises on top of old, which tells me this has been going on.
