THE Green Planet viewers were all in the same boat after the second episode of David Attenborough’s new series aired. Sir David visited the world heritage site of Falling Lakes in Plitvice and, after exploring the area and its vegetation, he refused to let show bosses row him back.

The 95-year-old showed off his stamina after he paddled back across the Croatian lake during Sunday evening’s episode. Proving that age was just a number, Attenborough impressed those watching at home with his rowing skills, however, some were left a little unsettled.

Taking to Twitter, one fan commented: “David Attenborough is 95 years old and The Green Planet have got him rowing boats near waterfalls and hauling heavy underwater cameras. “I suppose he’ll be deep-sea diving next week?” Echoing their comments, someone else questioned: “Catching up on tonight’s The Green Planet and they have David Attenborough rowing on his own by a waterfall in the opening?
