Scottish SPCA has penned an emotional poem inspired by dogs involved in puppy farming.Author and poet Patsy Goodsir, 70, from Burghead in Moray, created the piece of writing to raise awareness of the illegal puppy trade that is taking place across Scotland.The Scottish SPCA confirmed that in October 2020 alone, they launched 78 investigations into reports of puppy farming.Patsy, who is a regular supporter of the charity, explained that she used to be a licensed breeder of papillons many years ago and has taken on rescue dogs from SSPCA Inverness in the past.The writer stated that she was inspired to write the poem after seeing a particularly worrying photograph, she said: "I saw a photograph of a huge cattle type shed, filled with innocent.
