depression has seen a significant increase during the coronavirus crisis. Almost one in ten adults in the UK said that they were likely to be depressed between July 2019 and March 2020, reports Wales Online.
Just three months after the first national lockdown was announced, that figure almost doubled to one in five in June.Scots are now approaching the first full year of living under tight restrictions as the Covid-19 pandemic rages on.
And with the stay at home lockdown expected to continue on until at least the start of next month, people’s mental health is likely to suffer further.
