Selfies, champagne and dancing: Lockdown flat party caught on camera as revellers flout rules - they were brought down by their own photos

Salford. Four attendees of the lockdown flat party were subsequently issued with fixed penalty notices for breaking Coronavirus regualtions.Pictures and videos were posted on the party-goers public Instagram pages prompted members of the public to report them to the police.

Footage seen by the Manchester Evening News appeared to show guests getting close together for selfies, popping bottles of champagne, dancing, and sucking on balloons.

One picture shows a group of several people toasting with bottles of the beer Corona.Another photo, which was posted on one revellers' Instagram Story, used a filter which showed a time stamp of 2.15am on Saturday 16 January.The M.E.N understands that some of the guests travelled from as far as Clitheroe.
