Scots mum so sick she needed blood transfusion thanks 'amazing' NHS staff despite waiting hours outside A&E in ambulance

NHS staff. Carol Ether was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on December 29 by ambulance and was so ill she required a blood transfusion.

Despite having to wait hours in the ambulance in the parking bay as there was a queue of eight other emergency vehicles in front, Carol said the paramedics were "absolutely amazing".After waiting in A&E for a coronavirus test she was then admitted to the high dependency ward with two stomach ulcers.
