Scots dad of adorable girl with Down's Syndrome receives surprise Pride of Britain award for charity work

A Scots dad was left stunned after picking up a surprise award at this week's Pride of Britain Awards.Jamie McCallum thought he was attending the event with wife Victoria as an honorary guest after he picked up the Community Champion award at the Pride of Scotland awards.

However following a five-course meal at the glitzy Grosvenor Hotel in London, Jamie, from Prestwick in Ayrshire, was stunned when the spotlight fell on them and host Carol Vorderman announced they were not just guests as they had initially thought.
