Ricky Gervais
Ricky Dene Gervais (born 25 June 1961) is an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer, film producer, director and musician. He is perhaps best known for creating, writing and acting in the British television series The Office (2001–2003). He has won seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and the Rose d'Or twice (2006 and 2019), as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2007, he was placed at No. 11 on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups and at No. 3 on the updated 2010 list. In 2010, he was named on the Time 100 list of the world's most influential people.

Ricky Gervais says he’ll NEVER bring back The Office – but would do After Life series three

RICKY Gervais has said he'll never bring back The Office as "David Brent at 60 is too sad". The comedian, 58, shot to fame playing the hapless officer manager at the turn of the Millennium, with the mockumentary winning numerous major awards.

He reprised the role for 2016's Life On The Road which saw Brent chase his pop star dreams to no avail. Speaking to The Sun's TV Mag, Ricky questioned whether his fans really want fresh Office material.

He said: “I don’t think I’ll ever bring back the old favourites. People think they want more, but they don’t. "They just want the feeling they had when they saw it for the first time.
