Rebekah Vardy left court twice in tears today after some tense exchanges with Coleen Rooney' s lawyer during their ongoing libel trial.

David Sherborne, who is representing Mrs Rooney, had been questioning Mrs Vardy over one of the fake posts that had been posted on Coleen's private Instagram account.

During his questioning ,Mr Sherborne said it was Vardy who had "gone to Mexico to look at gender selection" to which she responded: "It wasn't me who went to Mexico, it was Mrs Rooney." To which the lawyer replied and said: "Is that your best point?" As a result Vardy's lawyer Hugh Tomlinson QC stood up and said: "Mr Sherborne keeps making remarks and if the witness is in the box for a long time it can be unpleasant." Mrs Justice Steyn, who is hearing the trial, said: "It is unnecessary" , reports The Mirror. Vardy nodded and grabbed a handful of tissues before leaving the courtroom for several minutes. The WAG returned but was in tears again when asked about her knowledge of the fake stories Coleen Rooney planted on her personal Instagram.
