rail company has apologised after it accidentally informed customers that Prince Philip had 'died'. TransPennine Express customers were left baffled after a notice said that the company were ‘saddened’ by the ‘death’ of the Duke of Edinburgh.
Screengrabs of the message went viral in social media while Prince Philip remains alive at his hospital bed. The notice read: “We are saddened by the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.”A representative for the train firm said it was working to get the notice removed at around 6.50pm last night.
