Pregnant Chloe Madeley claps back at trolls criticising her for exercise: 'Every body is different'

Chloe Madeley has stated the importance of her continuing exercising for the health of her baby, after passing the halfway mark of her pregnancy.

Some fans recently questioned why Chloe – who is expecting her first child with her husband, rugby star James Haskell – why she is continuing to work out while she's pregnant, as one penned: "Aren't you expecting?" with a shocked face emoji, while another added: "Is this allowed/ safe while you're expecting?" Now, Chloe, 34, has given her followers an insight into her updated training regime now that she is 20 weeks along, telling fans: "I’m pretty good at reading my body now." Alongside a snap of herself cradling her baby bump, Richard Madeley's daughter began by writing: "20 weeks today, halfway.Thought I’d do a little post answering some of the questions I’ve been getting from clients and followers about training during my pregnancy." Chloe continued: "Have I changed my training since becoming pregnant? Yes. In my first trimester, I tried so hard to keep walking the dog every day and to keep up with my weekly gym sessions (4-5 PW)."I knew how important it was to stay active during pregnancy, not only for my body, but also for the health of my baby, the birth and postnatal recovery," she shared. "But by week 2 of the sickness and the headaches I finally accepted that it just wasn’t something I could do."Chloe went on to explain that her husband James, 36, helped her out by walking their dog when she wasn't up to training at the end of last year. "By week 14 I eased back into my normal training again," she added.
