Post Malone Plans Nirvana Tribute for Friday Live-Stream Performance

variety.comBy Chris Willman Music Writer Post Malone is reaching back to his roots — from before the 24-year-old star was born, that is — with plans to live-stream a performance of Nirvana covers on Friday.
The “set of Nirvana hits and fan favorites” will take place from the star’s home on his YouTube channel Friday at 6 p.m. ET/3 PT.
Posty has been known to offer his take on Kurt Cobain and company before, although performances that have been caught on fan video mostly date back to 2017, when he was playing clubs and had a different look — as seen in the rendition of “All Apologies” on YouTube, seen below, which has nearly 4 million views.
