Police arrest man after 'knife point robbery' at corner shop

Police were called to the incident at the Village Convenience Store, in Middleton Road, Heywood, on Sunday (30 May). According to a spokesman from the Heywood neighbourhood policing team, a 31-year-old man has been arrested.

GMP Heywood tweeted: "A male aged 31 has been arrested by the Heywood Neighborhood team for a knife point robbery which occurred at the Village Convenience Store, Middleton Road, Heywood.
