Police are investigating four separate shooting incidents following a violent weekend across Greater Manchester. Gun shots were fired in a playing field in Bury, a park in Stockport, a takeaway in Crumpsall and at a house in Oldham.

Greater Manchester Police are investigating all four gun crimes. There is nothing to suggest the incidents are linked. The M.E.N has asked for updates on each case, but police have not provided any updates since the weekend.

Five people have been arrested after gun shots were fired on Red Bank playing fields, in Radcliffe. It took place in broad daylight at around 2.20pm on Saturday, May 30.
