Police appeal after teenager hurt in hit-and-run in Salford

in Salford. Officers were called to Bury Old Road at around 7.40pm on Friday, January 1. The caller reported a fail-to-stop collision, GMP said.

Cops established a vehicle hit a teenager, near the junction with Singleton Road. The white car did not stop at the scene. The pedestrian, a 16-year-old, suffered 'minor injuries'.

Their gender has not been revealed.Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. PC Griffiths, of GMP's Salford district, said: "Thankfully, the victim was not seriously injured.
