Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week.

The host admitted he doesn't usually watch the Channel 4 reality show, but the Blackpool pair's praise of him at the expense of rival show BBC Breakfast didn't escape his attention.
On his return after a week's break, Piers said: "I want to thank Sophie and Pete Sandiford from Gogglebox. It's not something I watch very often, but occasionally people bring things to my attention. "Look it's not for me to say what shoe you should be watching in the morning on television.
