Parents question school's policy 'that makes no sense' to ban Kickers

We reported earlier how a mum was questioning her son's uniform policy, which meant he couldn't wear the £68 shoes she'd bought him for the new school year.

The mum took to parenting forum Mumsnet to ask whether she was being unreasonable 'to to let him wear them and start a fight with them if they try to sanction him'.

She said she's always bought Kickers in the past as they're more likely to last the year and said the updated shoe rules were on a 'sub page' of the school's website for new Year 7s and not shared with the rest
