Panicked dog owner calls in fire service as her puppy locks itself in car on hot day

Kerry Hopkins was driving from Wilmslow to Errwood House in the Peak District on September 18 when she spotted a sheep grazing on the pavement on Prestbury Road in Macclesfield.

Kind-hearted Kerry pulled her courtesy car over to try and help as she was fearful the sheep would be hit by a passing car. Five-year-old boy 'seriously injured' after collision in Oldham At this point the sheep went back into the field, with Kerry closing the gate securely behind it.
