JYP Entertainment‘s upcoming girl group NMIXX have delayed debut showcase performance after a member was diagnosed with COVID-19.Earlier today (February 18), the label announced in a statement that the girl group’s forthcoming debut showcase after NMIXX member Bae was tested positive for COVID-19. The showcase was originally set to be held on February 22 to coincide with the release of NMIXX’s debut single album ‘Ad Mare’, but will now be held on March 1.JYP Entertainment shared that Bae had begun experiencing a sore throat on the evening of February 16, after which the entire group tested themselves using self-test kits.

Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of Netflix's hit science-fiction show Stranger Things, have shared new details of the show's long-awaited fourth season. The series' next chapter will be spread across two volumes, with the first premiering May 27 and the second July 1.

Los Angeles rapper Buddy has returned with a new song "Wait Too Long" that features fellow Angeleno and rising rapper/singer Blxst. Tomorrow X Together (TXT) member Yeonjun has tested positive for COVID-19, according to his agency Big Hit Music.Big Hit Music confirmed in a statement posted to the group’s Weverse page yesterday (February 17) that the idol had begun experiencing symptoms on February 12. At the time, he did take a PCR test, which had come back negative, but the idol proceeded to enter self-isolation, away from the remaining members of TXT as a precaution thereafter.However, he has since tested positive on his second PCR test dated February 16, which he was taken after he started to develop more mild symptoms.

Spotify may have paid at least $200million for the exclusive rights to Joe Rogan’s podcast, double the figure that was previously reported.The streaming giant secured an exclusive license to host The Joe Rogan Experience in May 2020, when it was widely reported the controversial podcast host had been paid over $100million as part of the deal.However, “two people familiar with the details of the transaction” have since claimed to The New York Times that the three-and-a-half-year deal was actually worth twice what was initially believed: at least $200million. Spotify has yet to publicly comment on this report.The Times points out Spotify had previously purchased whole content companies – podcast network Gimlet Media and digital media brand The Ringer – both for slightly less than $200million each.In recent weeks, Spotify has come under fire for hosting The Joe Rogan Experience, its biggest podcast in the US and many other countries, with an estimated per-episode listenership of around 11million people.Last month, Neil Young requested the platform pull his catalogue, citing “false information about vaccines” being spread on the platform and specifically targeting Rogan’s podcast.
