Renfrewshire care homes in the past 12 days, the Express can reveal. It is the first time that Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership has been able to report zero deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic in late March.To date 111 care home residents have died after falling ill with Covid-19.And while the HSPC reported one death in the week ending June 7, it says the death actually took place in the previous week.It means there have been no new deaths in June.The health authority - which oversees care of the elderly in Renfrewshire, said it cautiously welcomed the latest figures.A spokesman for Renfrewshire HSCP said: “We welcome the recent reduction in covid cases at care homes across Renfrewshire and hope this continues.“All.
