Nicola Sturgeon has made a fresh warning to Boris Johnson not to block a second referendum on Scottish independence. The First Minister claimed today she had "democracy on her side" after her party emerged as the biggest party at May's Holyrood election after campaigning on a manifesto that promised to deliver an IndyRef2.
The SNP leader also pointed to the level of support independence among younger Scots and bluntly added: "I've probably got time on my side as well".
Sturgeon spoke out after the PM delivered a dismal Tory party conference speech that barely mentioned Scotland and contained no reference to the prospect of a referendum.
