An NHS helpline has been set up to deal with pregnancy and postnatal care questions amid the coronavirus crisis. The NHS Foundation Trust in Bolton has created the helpline for mums-to-be to field concerns about how coronavirus can impact pregnancies, maternity care and postnatal care after birth.

Parents can call 01204487497 and will be able to speak to a midwife directly as the outbreak continues. The phone number will be operational Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.

Outside these hours, parents with urgent worries about their health in pregnancy, or with about their baby's wellbeing can call the maternity triage on 01204390612.
