Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has previously described Antonio Conte as "one of the best" managers in the world, amid the news that the Italian would be open to replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
As revealed by the Manchester Evening News, Conte, who is currently out-of-work after leaving Inter Milan back in May, is open to the idea of succeeding Solskjaer in the Old Trafford managerial hot-seat, should United sack the Norwegian.
Solskjaer is under intensive pressure at United following Sunday's 5-0 defeat to Liverpool and a growing number of supporters are calling for a changing of the guard, despite Solskjaer's legendary status at the club as a player.
