A petition was launched to save the intimate restaurant, which was described at the time as a 'valued anchor' on the local high street.But the efforts to save the Reddish trattoria failed, and in February owners Alessio Muccio and his partner Nicky put out a plea for people to help them find a new property.Their plea was answered, and the couple will now be taking over a former pub in New Mills, just outside Stockport.The new A Tavola site will be much larger than their previous restaurant, which seated a maximum of 20 customers.They will now have room for 30 covers inside and another 30 outside, with plans to expand into the upstairs of.
