Martin Lewis says he’s given £20million of his own fortune to charity in eight years

Martin Lewis has unveiled he has donated £20million of his own money to charity in just eight years.The 48 year old financial journalist made the revelation after previously pledging to donate £10million.

Money Saving Expert Martin, who previously quit his role on Good Morning Britain, made the promise after his website was bought by the Money Supermarket Group in 2012 for an estimated £87million.

And now, eight years on, Martin has managed to more than double his target by donating £20million to charities. Martin, who’s wife was recently robbed in a terrifying ordeal, shared the news in a blog report, where he detailed exactly where the funds had gone to and who it has helped over the years.
