Most couples like to keep work and home life separate, but for one Scots pair lockdown has forced them to bring the two together.

South Lanarkshire Council binwomen Kate and Lynne Walkinshaw-Harding, of Hamilton, are continuing to keep our streets clean and are not breaking any social distancing rules in the process.

The married couple both work as refuse collectors at Forrest Street, Blantyre, but usually on different routes. When the new lockdown measures were introduced, their managers realised it would make sense to put them on the same route together as they were already self-isolating, reports South Lanarkshire View.
