Marian Shved has secured a temporary Parkhead exit after joining KV Mechelen on a season-long loan deal. The 24-year-old winger has endured a torrid time in Glasgow - featuring only twice under Neil Lennon last season.

Shved was strongly linked with Ferencvaros last month but has plumped for a switch to the Belgian top flight as he looks to reignite his stuttering career. His father, Vasily, gave his son the big sell earlier this year and believes Marian still "has a great future ahead of him", despite failing to make an impact since his £1m switch from Karpaty Lviv.

Shved follows fellow outcast Vakoun Bayo out the door as the Premiership champions move on another player who has struggled to adapt to life at Parkhead.
