Manhunt launched after Fife shop worker attacked in early morning robbery

shop worker was left with minor injuries after being attacked during a robbery in the early hours of this morning. Cops are hunting for two men after the incident at a newsagent on High Street in Burntisland at around 6.40am on Tuesday morning.

They entered the premises before assaulting the staff and stealing around £500 in cash. The employee did not require hospital treatment but was left shaken.The first suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, around 6ft tall with a slim build and no facial hair.He was wearing a dark hooded top at the time of the incident.The second suspect is described as a white male also in his early 20s, around 5ft 6 in tall with a slightly stocky build.He was wearing a red bandana covering his nose.
