Manchester United offer Old Trafford facilities to NHS as Sir Alex Ferguson sends a message

Manchester United have offered to open up the use of facilities at Old Trafford for the National Health Service during the coronavirus pandemic.

United's stadium has been placed on a reserve list as a potential temporary blood donation centre, should there be a fall in blood donations during the COVID19 pandemic.

On Wednesday, vehicles from the Manchester United Foundation were dispatched to the Salford Royal Foundation Trust and the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity on Wednesday to present over 3,500 gifts to NHS frontline, cleaning, and backroom staff.
