Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has named Cristiano Ronaldo as his main inspiration when growing up. The Brazilian described Juventus forward Ronaldo as 'the ideal footballer' and says he has modelled his own game on emulating the Ballon d'Or winner.
Pereira says he drew inspiration from Ronaldo's technical flair and has revealed how his own set-piece technique is based on that of the United legend. "I always looked up to Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo because he was for me the ideal footballer," Pereira told the official club website.
